• 5-point harness : Kelty's fully lined 5-point harness secures a child safely and comfortably. It is featured on all Kelty carriers and strollers and has been tested and loved by parents nationwide.
• Adjustable child cockpit : Child seat adjustment can be fine tuned to fit the size of your child.

• Adjustable adult suspension : Adjustable harness fits all shapes and sizes comfortably.
• Aluminum frame : Aluminum frames are strong and lightweight.
• Auto retract/deploy kickstand : The auto retract keeps the base closed and tucked in while the carrier is in use and the auto deploy allows the base to extend itself when the carrier is set down.

What is the waistbelt range on a Kelty K.I.D.S. child carrier - baby backpack?
The waistbelt can be adjusted to fit 25" to 64" waists.

Does Kelty have safety standards or certifications for their KIDS products?
Safety is the number one priority for all Kelty Child Carriers & Baby Joggers. All Kelty KIDS products are thoroughly tested, both in the laboratory and the field, prior to production. Kelty is actively involved with the American Society for Testing and Materials (A.S.T.M.) and the Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association (JPMA) to make sure our products are in compliance with the latest safety standards.

Weight Restrictions
Kelty K.I.D.S. frame carriers - Kelty's K.I.D.S. carriers are intended for children between 16-40 lb. We don't have a specific limit to the child's height or size, as long as the child doesn't exceed the weight limit of 40 lb.

Kelty K.I.D.S. infant carriers - For newborns and infants we recommend soft/front carriers intended for infants between 8-25 lb. The harness system on our soft carriers are designed to evenly distribute infant’s weight throughout the adult's back, reducing strain on the neck and shoulders.

Kelty K.I.D.S. strollers - Kelty K.I.D.S. jogging strollers are for infants and children who are able to hold their head up. Maximum weight limit for the single strollers is 70 lb. Maximum weight limit for the double stroller is 100 lb.
